1996 Toyota Camry Car misses when I let off the fuel and I

When I let off the fuel, it bogs down with a miss, and the check engine light is on, and the car died on me twice. What do I need to check to get this fixed?

Scan the computer for code/s this is your starting point to find out what's causing the CEL to come on.

First thing you should do is ck for codes wich code do you have? Ck for spark plugs wires cap rotor botton and last thing for now ck the distributor coil wich you have to remove the distributor cap and a plastic cover inside of this and ck for crack if the coil is cracked replace coil and you will be fine.
