1994 Toyota Camry I think I got stuck with a lemon.

Ok. I admit it. I know nothing about cars. And I was stupid to buy a used one without taking it to a mechanic first. But now I'm stuck with it. There is rust. A lot of rust in the water (and I use that term loosly, it's more like mud) in the radiator. What can I do. Anything?

Sounds to me like the cooling system and engine hasnt been flushed in a long time, or ever.

So I would flush out the system and see how it goes, does it run just fine?

Sounds to me like typical rust, scale and old antifreeze.
