About two years I took my car to a shop for them to hook it up to their machine and tell me what was wrong. They told me it triggered the transmission code. Then about A year and a half ago the car made a trip to Florida and back. While in FL we have to use the shift override to shift the gears and when we got back to GA the car just wouldn't run past heating up point. I do now know what could be the cause of this, and have not been able to have anyone look at it since. PLEASE HELP.

Hi Anni
are you say the car is getting hot?
Or are you saying it quits running before it warms up?

Well you have got us confused, lol
if your car is shutting off and you had to manually shift it. Most likely this is two different problems.

However it will be virtually6 impossible to repair this, without some diagnostics this could be a coil a computer
a module a fuel pump. Electrical.
.

This paticular will have to have a driveability technician to atleast diagnose the prob. Sorry that is the best we can do thanks
