I am a single women and have to change a battery cable, I looked at the owners manual and it does not show where the cable runs to and says nothing about replacong it? The cable that needs replacing is the black one not the red one where does that cable go to from the battery and do you have to take the battery out?

Don't worry where it goes to the engine cut the shitty make cable clamp off where it attaches to the negative battery terminal and put a new clamp on it-then hook-up the battery up making sure the battery terminals are cleaned and tightened properly.

Where the other end is? Just follow the cable till it deadends most likely to the engine block or some good grounding place-such as the fender then to the engine block.
