I have a 92 toyota and it has gas in the oil. I have tested the injectors and they seem to be functioning. The car uses insane amounts of gas you can smell raw gas from the exhaust.

Test static fuel pressure to ensure no leaking injectors or regulator. Simply put a fuel pressure gauge on and turn the car to ign2 and let the fuel pump prime. The system should climb in pressure and hold. If the pressure falls off there is a system leak.

Also you can test the vacuum assited regulator by applying a vacuum to the regulator vacum nipple and seeing if vacuum holds. Sometimes there can be a broken diaphram and drawn back fuel through the intake from the vacuum hose.
