99 Toyota Avalon XLS Power Window Problem

I have a 99 Avalon with 121K miles. The driver side power window switch works intermittently. It seems the main control switch is faulty as it will not allow me to move windows on either driver and passenger side doors. I am assuming it is a window regulator and motor problem. Does the regulator control all 4 windows or does each window regulator and motor require replacement.

Thanks

Sounds like it is just the main switch. If the passenger side works with it's switch, but the master switch on the drivers side does not. Replace the master switch.

A window regulator is the mechanical device that raise and lowers the window. Each window has one. Non-power windows have these as well. The motor makes the regulator move, or a hand window crank will make the window move.
