My engine oil light will begin blinking on and off after about 30 minutes of driving.
Engine runs fine.
Took to dealer and they ran compression test:
cyl 1 (205 psi) cyl 2 (203) 3 (2040 4 (206) 5 (217) 6 (216)
Ran Oil Pressure Test: 800 RPM (15PSI) 1500 RPM (60PSI). The, y concluded the oil sender unit had a short so they replaced it and the light stopped coming on for a day, but started back the second day. Took it back to dealer and they say I need a bearing job, or a new engine?

The 1st thing the dealer should have done is check the oil pressure with a gauge to determine if its the oil pressure switch, oil pump and engine bearings-before they concluded that oil pressure switch is shorted out-I call it bull
