Hello; 50% of the time I can jump into the vehicle and it will start right up. The other half of the time it won't start at all! The engine will turn over sounding like it is just about to start - but without success. I've tried the gas pedal at all positions when doing this. I'll rest the battery when it is just about to die and come back - and it still won't start. Then 1/2 hour later I'll try again and it will eventually start (about when the battery is just about dead again). Then the next day it may work perfectly fine all day! (The outside temp here is around 60 degrees). Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi MonDrew,

Thank you for the donation.

When engine fails to start, to proceed with diagnostics, we need to find out what is missing, fuel or ignition.

Click the " First Things To Check " link at bottom of post to get an idea what to look for and let me know what you find.
