1994 Toyota 4Runner No Check Engine Light and No Start

The check engine does not come on at all, even with the ignition switch in the on position. Also have a no start/no spark problem. Can you help please?

Have you pulled the distributor cap to make sure the distributor it turning as you crank it? It could be a broken timing belt. Let me know what you find.

Yes I did check the distr and mad sure all wires are pluged in. I also to ohm readings on the coil, pickup coil and all was in specs. The one thing that is stumping me is the check engine light does not come on with the key in the on position. There is power to the ecm and all fuses that control the ecm and efi.
