1993 Toyota 4Runner General Operation

We just purchased this used vehicle, and of course it no longer contains an owners manual. Unfortunately I have never owned a 4WD vehicle and am unclear on the proper combination of gears and switches for normal operation vs 4WD, and when to use them or how to determine if everything is working. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mgflores,

It would be impossible to explain the manual here so the best I can suggest is to purchase an owner's manual from the distributor or dealer.

However you can ask specific questions and maybe some one can help you.

Eg. What is this switch for. What happens when I engage 4WD etc.
