1986 Toyota 4Runner Taking the Bolt off the crankshaft pull

I also have A Toyota about the same year and yes it has normal treads ( righty tighy lefty loosey ) I had a problem with the crankshaft bolt. If I remember right you need a 17mm or 19mm socket. What I did was put it in gear and I had someone in the truck holding the brakes . I took a five pound hammer and put a socket and long ratchet on there and tapped it loose. Hope this helps !
