I'm going from 215/70/15 tire size on 15-inch rim to a 16-inch rim. What tire size can I go to, to keep it at or near the same as to speed an all?

You're moving from a 215/70/15 tire to a 16-inch rim. To find an equivalent tire size, we need to maintain the same overall diameter. Let's break down what the numbers in your current tire size mean:

215 is the width of the tire in millimeters.
70 is the aspect ratio (the height of the sidewall expressed as a percentage of the width).
15 is the diameter of the wheel in inches.

A suitable tire size for your 16-inch rims would be 215/64/16. However, it's important to note that this is a non-standard aspect ratio, and it might be difficult to find tires with these exact specifications. Let us know if you need anything else.

Will 220/65/16 or 215 65/16 still work?

I would use a measuring tape to make sure you are not going too far off of the original tire size, but I think they should work.

I found 2 for the rear 225/70/16. Since they don't turn, and the height is 70 like the original ones can I get away with those? It's a 2WD.

Can I ask what "Since they don't turn" means? The new tires will not rotate? Can you upload an image or short video of what you are talking about?

The front tires turn with steering, rear do not. Is there a 'black box' on my truck? I heard some have them. Can that pose a problem with speed, and where is it located? Also, the tires I found are the 235/75/16 for rear.

Yes, tires size can cause issues with the ABS if there is a big difference in size, not sure what you mean by "black box"? Can you start a new question for it and include images?
