Just pulled a Carfax and no one changed the timing belt and water pump. Car has 156,000 miles.

So, can you guys send me the step by step instructions (with diagrams, if possible) to change out the timing belt and water pump?

As always, much obliged.

Thanks,

Jon

Hey JONSOLOW13,

From the information I have here it says the 2010 Ford Focus with the 2.0L 4 cylinder engine has a timing chain.

There is no change interval for this chain it is designed to last the life of the motor.

Hey JONSOLOW13,

The water pump is driven by the auxiliary belt.

I have attached instructions to replace the water pump, I have also added how to remove and install the drive belt.

Any further questions don't hesitate to ask.

Regards, Joe
