The timing chain broke and the mechanics replaced it. No damage done to engine. They cleaned everything up including the oil pan. Now it runs fine but it runs bad and loses power as it warms up. They checked the oil pressure and fuel pump pressure are good.

It runs fine but it runs bad? A loss of power as it warms up could be overheating or it could be a plugged catalytic converter.

I meant to say starts up running fine, but as it warms up it cuts out and loses power. No over heating and converter was replaced a couple years ago when stolen.

Check the resistance on the coil when hot. Check for the presence of spark at the plugs when hot. Check the timing. Check compression when hot and when cold.
