Hello,

This car is unusual here its base on a Daewoo from South Korea and that 1.8l motor is made by them. Did the current belt break or are you doing the change as a maintenance. I'm asking because we can get you through a timing belt change no problem if we don't need the timing marks which we will need if the belt broke. Our system is a little weak on cars not available in America but I'll see what I can do for you. Are you in Australia?

Okay, after a little research it looks like here its a Chevy Cruze or Aveo. The 1.6l and the 1.8l motor have the same timing belts. One question though, Do you know if your has Variable Camshaft Phasing that does matter. Here is an illustration of the one without. Does it look like yours? The first pic is just the 1.8l timing marks of the Daewoo the second is the Chevy version I believe is your same motor timing specs.

Hi Coolbear,

I think the best thing would be if you can upload some pics of your engine. Take a few of the front from a few angles so I can get a good look at the belts to see the pattern and the valve cover as well. If we can find the for sure Chevy that's sold here that the same car I can get you all the info you need. Send a pic of the body too that also will help me get a match. Look at this engine does it match yours?
See what you can do on that.
