Welcome to 2CarPros.

Many things can cause it not to start after what happened and the rebuild. There could still be a compression issue, timing may have not been set properly and so on. Do you have access to the vehicle?

If you do, record the engine cranking so I can hear it. If it is a timing or compression issue, I'll be able to tell. Next, I need to know if fuel pressure and ignition spark have been checked.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi Joe, many thanks for your reply. I don't have access to it right now as it's still in garage. They are going to look at it again tomorrow. Also the mechanic who did most of the work has gone on holiday. I will get in touch first thing and tell them what you have told me. Can they get in touch with you directly if need be?
