Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included the factory instructions for the removal and installation of the timing chains on your vehicle. I personally have this engine in my 1997 Mustang and having rebuilt it myself. Can tell you to lay the timing chains out, cutting them in half and mark the end links. Nail polish works great for this. Have the crankshaft sprocket at 6 o'clock and both camshaft sprockets at 12 o'clock. Each painted link on the chain should line up with the timing mark on each sprocket. Anyway, get back to us with how everything turns out, please.

Thanks,
Alex
