1996 f150 with V8 302 and 4wd with intermittent start/run issues. Just had new distributor put in and they didn't tighten clamp down and it advanced to 15* and was pinging. Took it back and they adjusted back to 10*BTDC and now it's sluggish. Didn't appear that they removed the SPOUT connector while setting the timing. Could this affect the power?
