Ticking then car stalls

Ticking noise gets louder with acceleration and then gets quieter when slowing down, then just stalls out like it has no power. Now car will not start.

From your description, it sounds like you have something in the valve train that is causing the noise. Something may be worn out or broken causing this issue.

Did you check the oil to verify the level is correct?
