Ticking sound which comes and goes and can stay active for several minutes both hot and cold engine. Ticking speed increases with rpm. Oil pressure manual check good with warm engine. Oil and filters changed regularly, no sludge. No engine lights or low oil pressure warning. Spark plugs changed recently. Using recommended fuel. Thanks!

Hello,

We don't have any of these vehicle's in our reference materials, so I'm assuming that you are living outside of the United States, but I still might be able to point you in the right direction here. There are two different ways to go here, one is external engine and the other is internal, so I will tell you both and you should probably start with the external one, as it is easiest. They would be either the serpentine belt or something that is loose hitting the serpentine belt as the engine is running, and the second would be a failing hydraulic lifter that sometimes is getting pumped up and sometimes not. Please inspect the serpentine belt, serpentine belt tensioner, and all areas around where the serpentine belt runs by and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
