Experience a sever bump, thud sound when car goes into the second gear at low rpm. Sound and thud is less noticeable if I accelerate harder.

Also at times, when I turn slowly at low rpm I feel front tires shudder/vibrate like jackhammer for two to four seconds.

Thank you.

Hi AMPIKO,

There seems to be excessive play with the drive train connections. Check the axle shafts and engine mounts condition.

Thanks. I will take my car to the shop.

I also read that out-of-balance tires maybe the cause of periodic shudder/hop/vertical vibration lasting three to five seconds at specific speed, triggered by matching resonance frequency. The rear brake pads were changed last week and maybe the alignment/balancing was not done correctly?

Yes, tires not correctly balanced would cause shaking of the steering wheels but they would only occur at speeds of at least 80 kph or more and would be rather consistent.
