Good morning,

No, do not use thread sealer at all. It is not recommended or required for this repair.

Just torque the bolts to the proper torque and you are good. The torque is 10 ft. Pounds.

10 ft pounds of torque =? Snug tight, medium tight or super tight?

10 foot pounds is around medium tight.

I would take a quart of engine oil and pour it over the cams.

That is the best lubricant.
