Thermostat replacment

How do I change the thermostat properly? Vehicle listed above has a Jaguar engine.

Hi,

Here are the directions for removal and replacement of the thermostat housing. The first two pics I attached show location of the t-stat. First, here is a link showing in general how it is done:

Here are the directions specific to your vehicle. The remaining pics correlate with these directions. Note that this is for removal and replacement of the t-stat housing. Once it is off, you can access the t-stat.

PROCEDURES
Thermostat Housing

Removal
1. Drain the engine cooling system.
2. Remove the intake manifold.

3. Remove the nuts and remove the bracket.

4. Remove the stud bolts.

5. Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the thermostat housing.

6. Remove the bolts.

7. Remove the thermostat housing cover.

8. Remove the water thermostat.

9. Disconnect the hoses.
10. Remove the coolant outlet pipe.

11. Remove the four bolts and the thermostat housing.

Installation

1. NOTE: Clean all the sealing surfaces, and inspect the O-ring seals thoroughly.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
