Transmission not going into gear?

It starts but the sound does not go into gear when put on drive.

Hi,

I need a little information. When you indicate, "the sound does not come, " what are you referring to? Do you mean there is no indication of transmission engagement?

Also, the X-Trail isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help. Let me know exactly what is happening and anything you can think of that may help me diagnose the issue.

Please, when I start the car, it starts but when I put it on the drive then the sound does not come, and it doesn't move.

If the vehicle will not move when placed in gear, have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition? If not, start there. Here is a link that explains how to check it:

It is like when I start the car and I step on the accelerator the sound does not come and the car does not move. For this one please help me.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you are referring to. Do you mean the engine doesn't increase in speed (RPMs) or the engine does increase, and the vehicle does not move?

I'm sorry. I have been ill. If the transmission isn't engaging to move the vehicle, the first thing I recommend is to check the transmission fluid level and condition. I mentioned that earlier. By chance, have you had a chance to check it?
