The mileage in the car

I would like a advise, I am thinking of driving it to Portugal next year, but I am a bit concerned about the miles. Also, this is a diesel car, if that helps.

A car can break down anytime or not, I have seen fifteen old old cars go 30,000 miles without a break down. Just just safe and keep extra water and oil with you with a roll of duct tape and some minor tools and you should be okay.
