I recently bought this car. It had been sitting in a garage for about 10 years. When I first brought it home, I was able to drive it, but it felt like something wasn't right, as if it didn't have much power.

A few days later, I started it again, put it into gear, and it had no power to move from a standstill. I lifted the front of the car so that both front wheels were off the ground, and the wheels spin when they are in the air. However, when I put the car back on the ground, it has absolutely no power to move.

What could be causing this problem? Can anyone help me? Any advice about this car would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello, I can help you, Can I ask if the engine rev up but the car does not move? Or the engine does not rev up? If the engine rev I would check the transmission fluid level, start the engine and find the dip stick, wipe it clean and reinsert it. When you pull it out again it should have fluid between the lines, if not you need to add some.

This guide can help.

Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on :)
