Hello from Tulsa Oklahoma. I recently had a problem with the rear park/running lights not working. After a lot of head scratching and cursing the engineers of the Uplander I found by the luck of the car gods a short in the wiring and now the running/tail lights work. However the tag lights do not. Is this not in the same circuit? I can't find a fuse designated specifically for them, which doesn't surprise me. It took a half a day to find the interior fuse block. Anyway thanks in advance. Any input would be appreciated.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

The power comes from the same place. If you look at the schematic I attached, you will see that the brown wire that powers the license plate lights attaches to the tail lamp circuit. However, there are a couple splices that may be causing the problem. Check to make sure nothing is broken or corroded.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
