I am having trouble getting to my cv joint. I have removed my breaks but my rotar will not come off and the threaded holes are striped.

I tried to remove the whole unit but after I removed the hub, I ran into a round wheel bearing locking nut and can not find a tool to remove it.

So I need help to find the correct tool to remove the locking nut and some advice on how get my rotar off.

After I can get passed this maybe I can start on the Cv joint. Thanks for the help

On most Suzuki Vitaras the rotors fit very tight. If the bolt holes are striped and you cannot get the rotor off just use some PB blaster wait 20 mins, turn the wheels so you can get a good swing and use a sledge hammer and just knock it off. If your bolt holes are not striped then use two 8m bolts and screw them in until the rotor pops off. It may sound like it is breaking but that is just the rotor comeing off of the spindle.

To remove the Drvier side Cv joint and axle you simplely jack up and remove tire, remove hub cover, remove the circlip and thrust washer. Then remove the 3 bolts off of the drive shaft flange and lower the pull whole assembley out. Its very easy and only takes a couple of mins to do. I just replaced my with a whole new joint and axle but if you wish you could replace the cv joint and boot at this point. I added some pics to help you out.
