Hello, I have a 95 suzuki sidekick 1.6L 4cyl. TFI w/ 100k. After sitting for a couple of weeks the car doesn't seem to want to accelerate. Changed spark plugs, wires, fuel filter and distributer. I also checked the timing belt and it looks like it's at 6'BTDC. After changing the distributer it ran fine for 2 days before it started stalling again. It idles fine but as soon as you give it gas it begins to stall. I tried to alter the throttle sensor and distributer, but still no solution. I get spark to all plugs. I thought of putting in a new coil or ECU. Thanks for your help Eric

I have a 1995 GEO Tracker and had the same problem. It turned out to be the coil after putting in a new fuel pump(didn't need), and three days of testing by a mechanic. Mort
