Sputtering 96 Sidekick, what could be the problem

My sidekick in a 94 so not sure if all this will apply. Mine had a small crack in the distibutor cap which cause some problems. I swear by Lucas products and would reccomend there fuel treatment for you. Plugs, wires and new distributor cap (if you have a distributor) would be a good idea to check or replace. I also had a spark plug back out and come loose, that made it run like &* % until tightened up. A stuck EGR valve will mess up your idle, or make engine stall at idle.

You werent real clear on when your sidekick is sputtering. Is it just at idle or is it running like crap while accelerating?
