C.V. Or Constant Velocity Joints are often the problem here. Have a look at the drive shafts that go to the front wheels, there are large rubber boots at each end (2 per shaft) If they are torn and dirty with grease, then they will need to be inspected for O/Haul. Even if the boots look in good condition, Find a quiet spot (empty car park) and drive in full lock circles slowly, Go left and then right. If they click or clunk they will be faulty. Get your mechanic to confirm this before ordering parts if you wish to repair your self.
