i guess you say, fuel pump is dead.

If this car is sidekick, the problem is easy.
Im expert on kicks.

Eg: fuses above left knee all good.
Gas cap off, key on (2nd person turns key)
you listen to pump at cap, buzzzzzz for 3 seconds each key ON. Then stops.

Key on buzzz, stop, key off, keyon, buzzz, repeat.
Thats normal.
No sound then ground is bad behind rear tails light.
