Hi there,

Charge the battery and have it load tested, this is the best way to test a battery, check the terminals are clean & tight and if these are OK, have your mechanic do a current draw test, this will show if any circuit is active when the key is off and causing the battery to drain, the Alt should also be tested for a current drain as a faulty diode will back drain the battery, but will also still shoe an acceptable charge rate.

My battery kept going dead on my 1991 Suzuki Swift. I tapped the battery cable on the battery and noticed there was a clicking sound coming from inside the door.I removed the door panel and the seloniod(SP) was making a clicking sound when the battery was hooked up. I unhooked to wire and that fixed the problem.
