Hi Diane Curtis,

Thank you for the donation.

What are the trouble codes you are referring to?

I was told by the auto parts store that the tps, code which I don't know also the oxygen sensor under catalic converter. My car makes a weird sound in the area of the muffler when it's started, kind of like a bubbling sound. That makes me think it's something to do with the emissions. Problem is I'm tired of paying mechnics to guess at what is wrong. Everytime they get a code they call around to try and find out what it means.

Go to the autoparts store and get the codes retrieved. Let me know the EXACT trouble codes so I can understand what is wrong.

As to the exhaust noise, it could be due to a bad catalytic converter.
