2004 Suzuki Forenza gage hand keeps moving from cold to hot

my car gage hand keeps moving over from cold to hot what could be causing it could it be the censor off, battery or what? I have not had no promblem with my car every since I got it new in 2004!

Have you checked the coolant level? Might just be a little low on antifreeze

For a start get the thermostat replace and see what happens its a cheap fix
