My R Diff Temp light just started coming on the other day. This happens from a cold start, and may cycle a couple of times before driving. Vehicle drives fine and there are no other indications of trouble.

I am wondering what could cause this to happen, and if I should worry about driving before I can bring to the dealer.

Side note, the day it happened, I had the oil changed. This should have no relavance, but thought I would mention.

Thanks

Dealer checked out and it was being caused by a corroded connection to the sensor. The sensor was good. High resistance in the connection would make it intermittently read as being open, causing the indicator to display.
