Heater

When I turn the heat on, regardless of the dial setting (floor, dashboard, or combined), the heat only comes out of the dashboard ducts. When I turn the defroster on, regardless of the fan speed, minimal air comes out onto the windshield, but air comes out of the under-the-dashboad ducts. Any suggestions?

Check the connections on the back of the selector switch, see if the heater doors are moving when you change from floor to defrost. There could be something keeping them from moving giving you fllor and defrost mix.

If it is the dial type mode selector than typicaly the housing for the cable that controls the defrost door posistion breaks. And unfortantely if thats the case the mode selector will have to be replaced.
