I need help/advice fixing the brake lights on my 1988 GL 4x4 Wagon. The brake lights quit working and I have checked the fuses. None are blown. The brake light switch at the pedal is working. I was told the problem maybe the "Brake Light Checker" that is supposedly located behind the panel covering the right rear tail light. This panel was removed and did not see the switch. Am I looking in the correct place and just over looking the switch or is it located somewhere else on the car? Thanks

This one that you are looking for is also known the stop light check unit which is located on the right rear tail light assembly-now you can stop looking.

Have a nice day :)

I have checked on the right rear tail light assembly and did not see this part. Do you know where on the assembly it is located? Thanks
