2004 Subaru Legacy Smell Antifreeze Burning

I can small the antifreeze burning, and the antifreeze is evaporating. I don't see any antifreeze on the ground. The heat gage does not indicate the car is overheating. What is causing the smell and the smoke? Thanks.

If you can not see any drops of coolant then this usual indicates a cracked intake or other gasket. The crack in the gasket allows the coolant to go into the combustion chamber and be burnt out through the exhaust, causing the smoke. To learn more about this, follow the link below.
