How can I check the cam and crank sensor to see if they are working properly

CRANK SENSOR

Unplug sensor connector, using a digital volt ohm meter set on ac volts position. Connect the leads to the two pins in the connector of the crank sensor. Then have a helper crank engine over. You should see ac voltage, if not, then your crank sensor is bad.

CAM SENSOR

Pin 1 is +5V, pin 2 is Ground and pin 3 is the signal. Use analog voltimeter in pin 2 and 3. Crank the engine: the pointer of the voltimeter shoud oscilate in range 0V to 5V.
