The OBD code I got when I went to get my car inspected was P0463--Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit High Input. The car runs fine and the fuel gauge seems to be correct. But I can't get the car inspected in North Carolina with these types of error codes. How difficult is it to replace the sending unit? I thing I found an access cover just behind the back seat so I don't have to drop the tank. But I'm not absolutely sure that's what the cover is for. Does anyone have a picture or exploded view? The cover is located behind the passanger side rear seat. Or is this for the pump rahter than the sending unit or are both under this cover?
Thanks in advance for the advice and hopefully a picture (I do a lot better wiht pics).

Both are there.

You can replace the sending unit seperately. May have to get it through the dealer, but might be worth calling a few auto part stores anyways.
Ask if there is a gasket with it.

Follow the tightening sequence.
