I am concerned on the seatbelts not locking in to hold me in. The model has the auto shoulder restraint & they do nothing but run across the chest. I a worried that if I would be in an accident, the seatbelts will not work properly is this a dealer only repair. Check engine lite comes on occassionaly. Should I worry about this

Hi SURFLAX428,

The belt is a safety issue so I would definitely worry about it. Get it checked out asap.

As for the CEL, get a scan done to find out what is wrong. Some thing is not right and it is better to get it resolved earlier rather than later because it could be something that might have a domino effect.
