1994 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

i'm about to remove and replace a automatic tranny in a 94 subaru legacy, never done a subaru, any warnings or special procedures I should know about.
i have pulled american trannys. Any help would be appreciated.T
