i would like to know how to centre my steering wheel buy removing the steering wheel as not to deploy the air bag but also is the shaft like finger spleenes or quater movements.

Hi there,

this should be done by a wheel alignment, removing the air bag is extremely dangerous and should only be work on by a qualified tech.

Can I adjust the steering to make it centre by the tie rod ends if so do you adjust both in the same direction and same distance or do you adjust one more than the other and in oposit directions thanks

This is the toe in adjustment, the steering wheel is held in the straight ahead position and the toe in is adjusted to get thehcorrect mesurements as per alignment specs, you will not get the sewttings correct by eye, close enough is not good enough in this case, even 1-2 mm out will cause p[remeture tyre wear.
