1998 Subaru Impreza fuel problems?

The engine will start, run for about 4 seconds, then stop. How do I trouble shoot to tell if the fuel pump is working, where is the fuel pump, etc? Thanks! Andy Jones

Check fuel pressure, check fuel pump power and ground as its possible there is a relay issue. The fuel pump is in the rear of the car usually under the rear seat I am certain most subarus have an access hatch under the rear bench.
