1998 Subaru Impreza CVC Boot-Axles

I had a CVC Boot tear and leak grease. I put in more grease and a patch until I could afford a proper fix. The car operates fine. I am going to replace the Sub-Axle on that side. (Passenger Side). Is there anything else you would reccomend?

You put a patch on the boot? This does not usually work. The convolutions on the boot force grease back into the joint as you drive, if they are deformed, the joint wont be properly greased, and could fail sooner.
