All of a sudden, today, when I shut off the engine, the parking lights stayed on. I have tried turning them on/off and also tested the keyless entry control. No matter what I do, they won't go off. As of now, the battery is disconnected - am 200 miles away from home and don't know what to do.

I haven't been driving the car much lately (have a 2nd car) and drove it 200 miles today after it had been sitting in my driveway for a while. Don't know if that matters...

Please help! Thank you. Mandy

Chances are the headlight switch is bad and will need replaced. If it sat for some time not being used, corrosion can cause problems. If it is only the parking lights and your brake lights and signals work, it should be safe to drive home.

Let me know if you have other questions.
