The right rear passenger door will not open, apparently due the child safety lock. I cannot figure out how to disengage the lock.

Hi there,

Open the door from the out side, there should be a small toggle you flick it should be labeled, it is normally on the door skin near the actual lock ass.

The problem is that the door on the drivers side (passenger door) will not open from the outside, inside, using the remote, using key or any which way. Any ideas?

Hi there,

The child safety lock will only limit the door being opened from the inside, so the problem is internal with in the door lock, you will need to try to remove the door trim to access the lock or get a dealer to trip the lock with break in tools, it is a bit of a secrete but most dealers can do this, it may be easier to do this as you may damage the trim trying to remove it with the door closed.
