2002 Subaru Forester Spraying Transmission Fluid

The breather is releasing fluid. Was just a drip but now I have to add 1/4 quart if I go 10 miles. Transmission is still shifting fine. No changes in drving. Do I need a whole new tranmission?

Have the fluid changed along with the filter. There might be a blockage making it build up pressure. This does not mean something major copuld be wrong but if it works its better than changing the transmission. With it running all right I would try having it flushed first.
