Control arms, are ball joints supposed to be slightly bent or if they were damaged during Transport?

I purchased a suspension control arm for my vehicle listed above, the box they came in was ripped where the ball joints were, and they were poking through.

Hello,

Can you upload some pictures of the components in question? It can help us determine.

In order to bend a control arm, it will have to have a significant amount of force. Just having a damaged box doesn't mean they got bent in transit. It is possible but they will have to be under a very good amount of stress.
Unless your old control arm is damaged, you can also compare them.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

I cannot move it no matter how much I try. Here's the piece in question. Should this piece look like that?

You should be able to move the ball joint part. It should rotate. If it is stuck then something got damaged inside and will need a new one.
